We all have those sad and gloomy days when we feel really low. It could be because of something that someone said or because of others not being able to understand us or because of an event that upset us or because we weren’t able to communicate our emotions oproperly, the reasons could be endless. Sometimes we might not even have a legit reason to feel low, we might just feel exhausted or tired or hopeless. This is normal. Not all days are sunny, bright and happy. We need those rainy days to appreciate and thoroughly enjoy the sunny days. Feel what you have to feel and then let it go because there are so many good things out there in the world that are worth your time and energy. It surely is hard to come out of our gloomy and sad moods so here are a few quotes that you can fall back on when you’re feeling low.
1. This too shall pass!
Read the quote again. Remember nothing is permanent, not even our problems. It may feel like it’s been forever but have hope, even if it might tak time to pass, it surely and most defintiely will pass and your sunny days would get closer and closer. Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise again.
2. What’s meant to be will always find a way.
Don’t be so hard on yourself as sometimes it’s not your fault so don’t drain your energy or hurt yourself. What’s meant for you won’t pass you by. Relax and appreciate what you have done so far.
3. Remember to treat yourself kindly when your emotions are beating up your brain.
Sometimes our emotions can turn into monsters but remember the war isn’t between your emotions and your brain. You are going to face all your battles and deal with various challenges that life has to offer to you, so you have to stay strong and have courage for your own self. Fight for what you want and not with yourself.
4. When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind not with it.
Instead of begging for the pain to go away, learn what is required go effeciently process it while you go through it. Don’t give up. Don’t push it aside. Go out for a jog, laugh a little, grab a slice of pizza and tell your problems that you are stronger than them, laugh at them and tell them that nothing can hold you down from reaching your goals.
5. Just because you’re struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing.
A few bad chapters does not mean your story is over. Just breathe, good things take time. Your current situation is not your final destination.
Hey little fighter, soon things will be better! We know it has been tough but you’re not alone nor is it the end. You’ve got time. The morning will come again and no season will last forever. So embrace your struggles and be kind to yourself.
