God created this world and in this whole universe we, humans, are one of its kind. We all have the same souls yet with different natures, body structures, mindsets and generations. What is common between all of us is our emotions and feelings. Realizing and cultivating a good, healthy and a successful life, we all need to understand that life is meaningful and if we stay positive, it can be beautiful too. Be it in any situation, we just need to find that one reason which can make us feel good. If we stay positive, we can survive any stress, problem or any kind of adverse circumstances. All we need to do is to stay calm and learn the precision of life. There are days where we feel low, and it ruins our whole day.
Instead of making your day bad with such a mood,we can make it feel good by saying some of the following things to ourselves:
1.I AM BEAUTIFUL.
If you feel a bit of a complex about yourself, stand in front of the mirror and say “I am beautiful.” This will actually help to encourage yourself and to focus on your positives and not the complexities. What people say about us, does not matter because at the end of the day its you and it’s your life. You need to encourage yourself to feel better about yourself. Feel comfortable in your skin. Everyone is flawed. Perfection is a myth.
2. I WILL FOLLOW MY HEART.
Whatever we do, be it a professional task or a hobby, we do it because it is our passion. We feel like doing it because want to do it. Never let external factors hinder your passion and follow what your heart says. Never let it end as a ‘wish I had.’
3. I BELIEVE IN MYSELF.
Even if you fail at any task , that does not mean you are failing in life. Always believe in yourself and keep trying. You will fail once, twice, thrice but in the end you will succeed. Follow your instincts and believe in your actions.
4. I UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF TIME
Understand that time is precious but priceless. It takes nothing to make the most of time. It depends on us how we have to spend it – wisely or unwisely. Like every other limited resource, time is one of them. Make proper use of it.
5. I WILL SPEAK UP.
To be your own self and to be true to your inner soul, you have to speak up. If you don’t speak, it will disturb your mind and will clutter your whole system with unwanted and negative thoughts.
6. THIS IS MY LIFE.
Tell this to yourself everyday you wake up. This will allow you to protect your life from the unnecessary judgements of the people around you. It’s your life , you have the full authority over it. Do not let people make decisions for you.
7. I HAVE FORGIVEN MYSELF AND EVERYONE WHO HAS WRONGED ME.
It takes a lot of strength and courage to forgive those who have hurt you, that includes even your own attempts at self harm and indulging in self destructive activities. It just takes one simple but courageous step to forgive and forget what happened. Yes , it is important to learn from it but never let anyone or anything overpower your personal space and peace.
8. I AM RESPONSIBLE
Be responsible for your actions and never make excuses. If you have done something bad , accept it and learn from it. Never let your actions affect people around you. Be very careful with what you say and do .
9. I LOVE MYSELF
Self love is the most important step towards achieving positive mental health status. It further branches into self care, self acceptance and self awareness. Love yourself for who you are.
Having the same kind of thoughts, everyday , somehow affect our daily activity and the relationships we have around us. If you are having a positive energy, you will attract positive people. It is very important to create such a vibe that soothes your mental health. What we say will eventually start becoming what we believe. As mother Teresa rightly said –“ we can always do small things with great love. At the end it is not only about making a living, it is about making a difference.”
